The Christian Music Publishers’ Association is a forum for owners and administrators of Christian music to discuss copyright issues and liaise with collecting societies and other organisations to ensure that songs are used as widely as possible within a legal and fair framework. The majority of UK Christian music publishers are members, and other European organisations too, representing songs old and new, from ‘How Great Thou Art’ or ‘Wide, Wide as the Ocean’ to the latest worship songs such as ‘Here I Am to Worship’.

New technology continually opens up new and exciting ways to use music in a worship setting, from bespoke service sheets and overhead projectors to video projection and multimedia presentations, and this website aims to help individual song users, churches, schools and organisations to understand how copyright works and to facilitate their legal enjoyment of the many inspiring songs available.
